My roommate walked into the kitchen yesterday and there was glitter and ribbon and stationery everywhere and she walked out
actually this is super accurate in terms of pictures other people take of me
Sometimes like my makeup is nice or my hair is nice and I won’t necessarily be aware of it throughout the day because I’m not really looking at myself and it’ll just be overall kind of meh, and then I get home at night and I go to take a shower and it’s like WOW WHAT I LOOK GOOD WHAT A WASTE
I was always fond of jellyfish but it wasn’t until I found out they had no brains that I really liked them. Unfortunately this is not the same when I consider people.
I always wonder whether I should reblog and edit list posts I see or just make my own because I’m changing like 80% of it anyway
In part, I believe very little in disagreements because they are usually semantics-driven, and in terms of the actual thing that’s being disagreed upon, the nature of the thing does not leave room for interpretation (ex: an apple is an apple, but the perceived disagreement is that I like apples and you do not—which is also a factual statement and there is now nothing to disagree over that).
This is also driven by the fact that few people intelligently disagree with me and those that do only do rarely
